The deck is just 2" treated lumber, from 2x6's and 2x10's and one 2x4 in the middle. And far as the cross members, I think they are around 14". and i can load the tractor on it without the decking. In the one pic, on the 2' dove tail, i grinded the top of the deck so it would be smooth, as you can tell the darkness in the wood.
