Don't know your tractor GPM's, but for more speed on the log splitter, use one of those LSR3060-3 log splitter valves by Prince. It is the rapid extend valve, with detent for using tractor hydraulics. Instead of 7 GPM's, it will act like 28 GPM's. This rapid extend is achieved by pushing the lever all the way forward. If the splitter will not split in rapid extend, just pull the lever back to the power split.

This valve will not work on a self powered log spitter using a 2 stage pmp.
