Snow Equipment Owning/Operating HLA1000

Just took delivery of an HLA100072 hydraulic plow. Made in Ontario!! Installed it on my Kioti CK35hst this pm and plowed. I had been using the FEL to plow and thought this would be an approvement. Its slick (8 Way) and faster than the FEL, but harder to do those tight spots where you have to pile rather than push. Its a perfect match for the tractor and there is no want for more power. The QA feature is quite nice, but having to run the long lines to the rear for the hydraulics is a pain. I think I will add disconnects for those lines at the front rather than reroute them to the back every time I take the plow off. Any words of plowing wisdom would be appreciated. Bob

About your snow blade,

You should spray or coat the blade with fluid film to aid plowing and avoiding having snow stick to the blade.

About the hydraullics-what your saying is the loader remotes are sized differently and you have to use the rear remotes for the plow?

The option of using the FEL supplies never came up. I'am not too much of a mechanic so I usually go along with the pros. Its not too hard to put disconnects at the front, but I may sell the unit as I don't see a huge improvement over the FEL but time, and thats what I got, honey, time. Besides I wanna a chipper/shredder.

I have a QA plow for the front of my L3700. Once it is on and the angle is set, I hook up to the curl in/out ports and that's it. I have left right up and down. A 3rd function would be nice but not really needed for the plow
