Quick Hitches Hitches What Do You Think?

3pt quick hitches are great, esp on bigger implements.

The downside is all your implements need to be the standard 3pt measurements, and esp the top link can be set up oddly on some implements so the top hook won't fit. Specialty items like post hole diggers you need to take the quick hitch off....

I agree try the extendable links first. I tried the HF QH but when I got it home I found the variation in button pin location and top pin size & location would have required numerous mods, time, & $... If your buying new attachments and your attentive you will avoid problems but probably spend a more. Some of my used attachments came with my used JD. I also got some great deals on a couple other attachments. It would cost me more than its worth to replace them. I ended up going with Pat's Easy Change bottom links and love them.

One other thing is anything with a PTO will need to be checked carefully because the QH requires longer shaft.

There are some very good threads on this site that cover every aspect of the various QH out there.

Good luck. RoN
