Tractor
Kubota bx25
For my next project I am making a "Multi Hitch" for the front of my BX-25 tractor. Now by "Multi Hitch" I mean......well, you'll just have to wait and see

Check it out...There is plenty of room for it with the FEL at rest. Also it is still higher that the front diff.

Plate is 3/16" sides and 1/4" front, Reese hitch is 3/8".

Very sturdy looking and all the considerations taken, What more could you add? Got any pics of your home-made ripper tooth?, I have one of my own designed and made already.

I had the same idea and made something like that for my B3030. I mostly use it to add a weight to the front end when I use my leaf vacuum. I made a bracket for the weight by welding a channel iron to a 2" peice of square tube. The weight is an old John Deere weight from the front of a 3020D. I have also attached a ball hitch to the front for moving a trailer. It is a very handy thing to have on the front of a tractor. Nice job!

The first pic was of the grille covered in dandelion fuzz after mowing one time. You can see the receiver hitch under the grille guard. The 2" I.D. square tube is welded to the angle iron which is bolted to the front and the sides of the tractor frame. The next pics show the weight mounted.

When you decide to attach something to the hitch are you going to remove frt end loader or just raise it into the air?

I'll just raise it up, unless the job is long term. You'll see what I mean when the next phase is completed.

very nice. by multi, I assume you plan to have a bunch of attachments in th front like a winch, baby size grader blade, front ball hitch, water jug carrier to quench your job site thirst, extra lights down low, etc. did I gete your gears turning?

I like it. Out of the way yet easy to use.
My first though was I would not want to drive around much with my bucket up in the air but if I was towing from that low point and my bucket as low as possible then that would help compensate for the bucket weight up in the air.
Nice Job!

There is not a sock in the world that compares to a Goldtoe sock. I suggest burning all of your current socks and running Goldtoes exclusively.

As for the hitch to the OP - excellent! Can you copy and paste me one? Thanks!

Finally finished my "hitched" project. I'm ready to pull, tow, or drag just about anything now. The winch is a Venom 5000# pull. The battery is a Optima yellow top - THE winching battery of all batteries. It is in the auxiliary slot. The battery isolator is a 1314 sure power. On the dash is a switch that can be used to swap over to the Aux. for starting if a problem exists on the main battery. Pretty much the standard winching setup.

TachDriver, you have had over a year to use your winch set up.
Would you have done anthing different ?

Looks great!

Negative, the winch is great. I pulled some Trees blown down during a storm and the winch said "gimme More" or in other terms " is that all ya got "??

It fits the Bx25 application rather nicely. Actually it's that brut of a battery that is behind the whole operation

Electricity is not a strong point w/ me, at all. What would happen if you
didn't use an extra battery and hooked up to the tractor battery?

the potential problem might be not being able to shut the engine off if the tractor battery is dead....also the tractor battery and charging system may not like the heavy duty draw down...
