Hinomoto N209

This "shuttle shift" sounds more like the (I think) JD "sync-reverser" which just allows syncronized shifting fwd to rev using the clutch. It effectively gives you a reverse gear for every forward gear.

It sounds like the N209 may be the same as or similar to a Massey MF1125 or MF1140. In the used tractor buying guide, both tractors were made by Toyosha with 16F - 16R gears in 1991 to 1993. My Japanese tractor specs book shows the N209 was first made in 1990 (or 89?).

It sounds like we are on the right track. My importer is getting another N239 this week. I am loaded with tractors. If I can move one, I plan to snag it.

I think the used tractor buying guide for the MF1125 and MF1140 is wrong. It has those models listed as Toyosha, and I read some of the posts from the MF forum, and the owners say they are Isekis, and JerryG also indicates that they are Isekis.
