My father has 700 on his BX 23... That's like 1700 to the guy who takes care of one, he is brutal on equipment.

Hours w/o knowing how old it is doesn't mean much. I have a BX25, purchased April 2011, now have over 800 hrs and no problems only routine maintenance. Those 800 hrs have not all been easy hours either.

I am amazed by these guys that spend $20K buying a brand new set of equipment and then only use it 50-100 hrs/yr. I wish I had that kind of money to burn. They would be better of economically just renting something when they need it and not have to worry about the maintenance. Mine is not used commercially either, just here on my 21 AC forest farm. Hardly a day goes by that mine doesn't get started except in the winter when our rains get pretty steady.

Some people only use their tractor 10-15 hours a year.
