high octane fuel concern

All the talk about LL100 here thought I'd google up some research on it and now think it's good for airplanes. As far as my small engines go I've been putting stabila in the fuel for years and never had a gummed up carb or any other problems. When available premium marked but often just regular 89% octane.

I would pay the difference just to prevent production loss and repair costs caused by ethanol fuel.
