Murph , other end of ohio, near cincinnati. Ibeen trying to learn all i can about garden tractors, and am leaning towards a husqvarna gt48 or 52 xls. My land is hilly, probably 25-30 degree max on parts of 2 acres that will be mowed. So larger tires with differential lock would probably be good. I also would like to use it for grading parts of it after having my neighbor run a disc harrow over it with his atv. Horses made a real mess of it. I also want to use it for grading loose gravel now and then for paths in the woods and parts of driveway. Ive read the husq gt's have a stronger transaxle than all the lawn tractors you see at lowes and hd. I'll prob be spendin around 4k with a few attachments and a sleeve hitch.thats probably the max of what id want to spend.
Theres one Husqvarna authorized service place near here, but he doesnt stock or sell them. So, i have a place for service, warranty if i cant tackle it myself. I think his shop can order one for me, but i havent talked with him yet, or got a price on one from him. Dont know if he can get me a better price than buying one online and having it delivered.
Has anyone here bought a garden tractor from one of those online shops?
