Hi all new to the cub cadet site

Hi There! Looking for a Z force or RZT with steering wheel myself. You mentioned you are really glad you didn't get the 54" or 60" - why is that? I have about 3 acres, but quite a few fences, pond, trees etc. so the 48" would be much more maneuverable I think, but would take a lot longer on the clear areas.

Hi yes it is just so much easyer getting around stuff with the smaller mower I may have to make a xtra pass or so to make up for the smaller deck but well worth it for the easy of mowing around thing and between tree or any other tight area's you may have in your yard. Also it fits nice on my small trailer and i dont have to get my big trailer out to haul mower. But everyone is dif. look around your yard and see what you will be mowing around and between also measure your trailer. Good luck Vince

48" is about perfect because it atleast covers the wheel-span of the ZTR.

This was not the case with my Z-Force 44" fab'd deck. The tires/wheels on the machine were wider than the deck. Perfect for narrow spots, loading onto trailers and whatnot, but not the best cut quality. For close trimming and better cut, you want something that extends out the sides of the machine.

That true my deck sticks out each side of my mower so i can mow right up next to thinngs makes it easy.

Duck,

How has the last couple of years been going with the Z Force, do you still love it? Have you found anything that has made you regret or at least like it less. Are you still happy with the 48" deck too?

Thanks
Chris
