In the manual, it says the application for use is 'Vehicle Recovery/Trucks and SUVs', then proceeds to show the proper way to do that. Does not claim to be, nor recommend, flat dragging of logs or whatever.

It also recommends double line rigging whenever possible..

Like most things, you must read about the uses and limitations before buying.

And you'll notice the rated line pull is maximum, not full range. It is rated for the first wrap of cable around the spool. If you read the full details you can see by the time the spool is fully wrapped (5 layers) the rated pull is nearly half the max rating. So unless you start with the cable fully extended and an empty spool, you won't have the max power. I think these are standard ways winches are rated too, no matter what the brand.

Yes there is something about those stinking Chinese tires that is really obnoxious. It took months for that smell to subside from those things.

valid in store only. lol well my local store is an hour and half away. not to local for me lol But I replied to the email. lets see if it even goes through or they answer lol
