Hello everyone glad to finally get on TBN i know i will get some good info on here. I have a John deer 2210 series one tractor that the inner pto housing failed. So know I have half a tractor runs great use it for the loader and box blade now. So since I have no pto on the JD I came across a 445 long believe to be like a 50 hp has 3500hours. It set up for about 5 years. It needs some work kinda rough shape. The guy I bought it from said he could get it turn over and roll white smoke. So I got it home felt like I got a good price for it. So I'm checking the fluids the transmmission is milky white. The engine oil was super clean like new not black at all. So first thing I do is just crank it over to see what happens white smoke but not running.so I'm sure I need to change fluids and go though the fuel system. So my concern is I went back and check the engine oil after cranking it over and instead of super clean oil it's brown my guess hopefully its from condensation from siting up so long anyone with any ideas? My other idea is the guy changed the oil to cover up a bigger problem who knows.
