Have decided on a great woods angle blade for my L3130. Your discussions have convinced me to buy heavy duty, but now.............................6' or 7' blade and why? Or is it that relevant. I'm looking for reports that perhaps the 7' would be too long for some reason. Anyway I would like to draw on your vast, collective knowledge one more time as I will purchase the blade tomorrow. I'd vote for the seven footer on the basis of being able to cover your wheel tread with the blade angled. This would be particularly useful if it's not capable of being offset, so you can use it in ditching and other angled grading situations going to either side. With an offsettable blade, you could do the same thing with a six foot width.
It's certainly true you could accumulate a larger, heavier pickup pile with the seven footer, but your 3130 should have the weight and ponies to handle it.
6' is probably cheaper... beyond that, maybe it would get into some tight spots the 7' wouldn't touch, but how likely is that going to be a problem?

don't really know the uses u have for the blade, but with the 3130 the 7 ft should be your choice in mho, more likely to cover your tractors foot print,
