Buying Advice Help!

Hi All! I'm in the process of buying a piece of land and the tractor is for sale - the owner just said "make an offer". I no NOTHING about tractors, but I think it would be cool to have one and, yes, I'll need to use it. It is a Mahindra 450, looks very old (I like it) and has 1,179 hours on it. I haven't the foggiest idea what to offer - Help! Someone must know about what it's worth, yes????????

with out see a picture of the tractor it is really hard to tell. it could be worth from 2500 to 4500 dollars maybe a little more depending on cosmetics and tires and if it comes with any implements

Dah! As soon as I wrote my question, I realized it was a real "blonde" question. I will take a picture of and look at the motor a little better. Thanks for your response!

If you know any other tractor jockies that are local you might drag them along to kick the tires and that kind of stuff.
