I have a MF GC1720 and want to add 4 remotes to the back. I'd like to do 2 with float for top and tilt, and 2 standard DA for all the usual stuff. The only setup I've been able to find is the Prince 9SV-4-Y from Surplus Center that everyone seems to use. My problem is that this thing is HUGE. It's rated for 3 times what my pump will put out, and expensive, and is physically too big given that space is already at a premium on the back of my tractor. Does anyone know of a smaller 4 spool, 2x float, rated for ~5gpm valve setup I should be looking at? Thanks!

This valve is a 20 GPM stack valve.

It is going to be hard to find a 4 spool valve with the requirements you want.

You might be able to find a monoblock spool valve and add float to two of the spools.

Call Prince and see if there are float parts for this spool valve.

Contact Brian at FitRite Hydraulics, he can quote you a Bucher stack valve setup. It's still going to be big though, real estate will be a premium on the back of your small machine.

I can get you 12 GPM valves made up as you are looking for. Take a look here to see how I do 1000 series JD machines. We can probably do something similar to this for your tractor. ;)
