Anyone out there with a LA853 that can help? Mine has not come in yet and I am also waiting on the front hydraulics kit to come in but we need the diameter of the control rod for the loader to size the new grapple control grip. Just need the diameter of the rod for the loader control handle on a LA853. Thanks for the help.

Sorry it took a while before I remembered your message and my calipers at the same time! The joystick shaft diameter on my LA853 is exactly 13mm (0.512in). I kinda thought it was slightly tapered, but it is not. My loader is about 6-8 years old, but I doubt they would have changed the joystick assembly any since then. You will sure enjoy that loader!
