HELP! PHD shaft is short

Grub, I've only had my tractor for just over a week. Everything is new to me! I just put my mind and body in SLOW motion. I check...double check... and triple check. When I first used my PHD, I was REAL nervous. Once I got it engaged, the nerves settled pretty quick. I say the key at first is slow, slow, slow.
