Where exactly does this "ad" show up? I have yet to see it.

Re: Help!! Not invaded but can\'t reply

It is above the main forum list and to the side of individual forums. If you have your computer fairly locked down (cookie restrictions, Active-X restrictions, software firewall) you will not see it. It really isn't very obtrusive, and is a small price to pay for a free forum.

It's sorta funny, I don't see it at home, yet see it at work. I guess my machine is tighter at home.

The February 22 PC Magazine picked Spy Sweeper 3.5 as an Editors' Choice for Antispyware. In the past Spybot was their highest pick (but not good enough to be an Editors' Choice), but the magazine explains why they chose Spy Sweeper 3.5 over Spybot in this testing period.

I have no objection to the ads and I would like TBN to prosper. What I don't like is someone installing software on my computer without my approval for the purpose of tracking my activities. Double Click gives you the ability to Option Out but most people are unaware that they have the software on their computer. In my case, I will look at the ads but I will block the adware.

Re: Help!! Not invaded but can\'t reply

Something else to consider too. If you are logging in through a network, such as I used to do at work, all the ads are logged in as you actually visiting that site. We have one employee under investigation for inappropriate internet usage. You ought to see a 30 day log of his /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Even though he did not click on that ad, it shows up in his log.
