I have a Rhino 404 tractor, and ever since I bought it I had problems with it running hot. I have replaced the radiator thermostat and just recently the head gasket. The head gasket had a tiny leak but was not gettting in the oil. Since I replaced the head gasket I am having a hard time starting the tractor, and I am not sure I am calling this the right name but the de compression lever doesnt feel right when I use it when starting. Before it was tight and you felt resistance and about a 1/4 turn was all you had to turn it now I have to twist it just about all the way around before I feel the resistance and when cranking the motor does not sound like it used to. I have pulled the valve cover off and verified the rod is connected correctly. Any ideas?
