Help Needed - RC rover using hydraulic Drive

G'day there

First post so bare with me
I'm needing some help building a remotely controlled 6 wheel drive rover using a hydraulic skid-steer system, I'm posting in here because it痴 the only place I could find on the net with a decent hydraulics forum

The plan is to have 2 hydraulic motors, one each side like a bobcat driving 6 sack truck wheels by chains.
This will be controlled by a simple implement type valves actuated by RC servos and it will be powered by a 6.5HP petrol motor.

Heres the parts I need help with

I wanted to use some old motors of a hydraulic reel mower BUT are these capable of reverse?
Also what size pump will I need to drive these motors? I was looking at using one of those dual stage pumps like they use on those cheap log splitters because I know they are usually coupled to 5-8HP motors

The whole machine should weigh between 40-50KG

Is that 110 lbs total weight you want to control/power? Is this for some kind of work, or is it for exhibition?

I think your estimated weight way to low. Have you considered all the parts weight, engine, hyd motors x 2, chain,hyd valve, hoses, etc.

Baileys.com has the remote control for hydraulics, and they also have pumps and motors at decent prices. I have never messed with hyd reel motors, but most hyd motors will reverse.
