I have a TYM 293 that needs some work but there are no TYM dealers within a 100 miles. Shiprock is the closest TYM dealer now. The one that I bought the tractor from went out of business. I need to get both rear axle seals replaced (I have the seals) the front axle left seal and some other odds and ends. If anyone knows of a person in the Albuquerque area that can work on the TYM please let me know. Its a good little tractor, just needs some help.

Yes, check the Mahindra dealer down on Broadway, just north of the Isleta exit.
LR Sales, their number is 505-877-9410. They may be able to help.
There is another place, right on 66 across from the Tijeras transfer station. They do a lot of heavy equipment repair and may be able to do the work. I think they do it "part time" so tough to say. I don't know the name/number. They sold me 2- 8' cutting edges for $50, so really cheap.

Ken, If your mechanically inclined at all you can do the seal swap yourself. I've done it on my 273 and it's tedious, takes a lift of some sort to remove the ROP, and some time to dissemble the axel portion, but -- it's a doable job for a homeowner. Just keep track of what you remove and it's just a reversal to reassemble. Good luck, Greg

Thanks. I did call the Mahindra dealer. The person from service that I talked to was short and rude. In short he said that they only have time to work on their products. If I was considering to get a new tractor this person sealed the deal for me to never do business with this dealer. I will look into the on 66. Thanks again.

Greg, I am mechanically inclined but this is an area I don't feel comfortable with. Additionally, I don't have the ability to get the ROP off. The tractor is what I use to lift heavy things like this.

Ken, I hear you and it does take some sort of lift to remove the rops. I have an old harbor freight engine lift I used. Without that I couldn't have gotten the job done. But, all of the rest is just mechanical stuff that I'm sure you could accomplish. If you can figure out some way to remove/reattach the rops you're on your way to fixing your dilemma.
Believe me Ken, I'm not just preaching at you, this can be done! I was "very" nervous and unsure but plunged ahead because I needed this to get done and had "NO" one else to do it! With the parts/service manual just plug along and get-er done!
Or - if you do find a mechanic, be prepared to pay an exorbitant sum. Again, Good luck.

Yeah, that's why I don't own a Mahindra. Even if you're looking to buy a new one..... well lets just say that they pretty much drove me off with their attitude.....
