I NEED HELP!!!
As you all know this is my busy time of the season . I have handed out responsibilities to different members of my staff as required . Last night ,a new and inexperienced Elf, "Pee Wee" , was penning up my Reindeer. He somehow forgot to latch the gate securely. This morning, 12 high horsepower Reindeer, were missing . I suspect they may be on the run . A Travel Brochure of the Bahamas was found in one of the stalls and 12 pairs of Sunglasses are missing along with a case of #50 Sun Blocker lotion from inventory room ! This appears to be a planned escape .The Reindeer were only used one time a year, for cryin out loud , and it is ridiculous that they would desert me now in my hour of need . I should have never agreed to letting them Unionize !
Anyway I regress , OK, here is what I am asking . I need 12 good tractors with experience operators to guide my sleigh tomorrow night ,as follows.
1. All Applicants must carry their own insurance as chimney's have been hit by accident , in the past .

2. No Drinking will be allowed until all packages are delivered and we return safety to the Pole ! ( Rudolf still has a red nose from the last time this got outta hand! )

3. All Brands will be considered ,but you must be able to make them get up and FLY like the wind .( magic can only do so much )

4. NO Hotdogging or Showing off. If you want to cross a open 6' ditch using only your bucket and backhoe that is fine as long as my sleigh is not attached . NO exceptions.

5. Seat belts will be required .

6. No Weapons of any kind . (I don't care if someone is shooting at us because they are scared of a red suited dude on their roof . We will not take the law in are own hands ! ***

7. All tractors will be required to have a approved Class "1" three point hitch with safety chains .( Darn near lost a good sleigh 3 years ago because of this )

*** (All Arkansas Applicants please take special note of item #6)

Ok then, here is what I need . Tractors must be paired for proper pulling power and compatability in this order .

1. 2 Kioti's a howlin

2. 2 John Deere's a runnin

3 .2 Kubota's a pullin

4. 2 New Holland's a workin

5. 2 Mahindra's a haulin

6. 2 8N Ford's a smokin

I have purposely placed the John Deere's between the Kioti's and the Kubota's as they have a tendency to growl and snap at each other .
If interested you can apply immediately at :

S.Claus@northpole.com

or through this web site
I have enclosed a picture of my seilgh for your consideration.

Sincerely,
Santa "The Big Dude" Claus

Disclosure : This is not an offer for "full time employment" . This is a one time offer only .All successful applicants will be paid at prevailing wage and be allowed to join into the "Joy of Giving" and the "True Meaning of Christmas" club if they so desire . Membership is not required ,if you are so inclined .

!!!"MERRY CHRISTMAS"!!!

[Funny post! Except the wife envies your sleigh...not a good thing! ]

Well tell her to come for a ride !. I was suppose to be Santa this year in our little town in Idaho and give rides to the kids . Unfortunately , My father suffered two back to back Heart Attacks in Oct and we have been in California helping him recover ever since . Hopefully next year . I did not get the new barn up yet so we do not have the new horse to pull it anyway . My nieghbor was going to loan me his horse to pull it but with Dad being down , it can wait .
For now I pull it with my Polaris Sportsman . The wife hates wearing the paper mache Reindeer head I made for her , and refuses to be put in the harness anymore when I want to go out for a ride . Some women have no sense of humor !

Allen, I think I can help you out. I've been planning on welding a couple D rings and a hitch on the back to pull out stuck cars, I'm pretty sure the sleigh would be no problems!

Merry Christmas Allen. My best to your father. And Merry Christmas to all the friends here at TBN.

Bob,
That is one beautiful Snow Trac . My sleigh is very light and two men can move it easily . It was made in 1847, as far as we can tell . It is original and ready to be used . The back seat folds down ,like a rumble seat , if not needed . I plan on getting a great big ole Draft to pull it .Maybe a "recovering alcoholic horse " from Budweiser . Anyone know how to chain up a horse ????? Which end do the chains go on ???

Santa used Terex equipment in the 1960's and 1970's... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Too bad about your father; I hope all works out well.

If my wife's old nag could fly we'd be taking you up on the offer to drive that sleigh, but Idaho is quite a trip from here and we're "expected" at too many wingdings on both sides for such a trip [on the other hand...."but we just couldn't deprive the children in Idaho of their Christmas sleigh ride!!!" /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif]. Of course, I think the SIL's gelding just might "fly"....but I don't want to be riding!

Actually, I was just "excavating" the remains of their Grandfather's "buckboard bob-sleigh" this fall, but too many other irons in the fire let the weather get the best of the idea until spring.

A Merry Christmas to you, even in California!

Awesome SnowTrac Bob! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

You find the best toys; I bet you have a giant redwood for a Christmas tree [to put the new ones under every year]. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
