Help! Micro hydro pipe expansion

/ Help! Micro hydro pipe expansion #21
I did a project for a pharmaceutical company about 12 years ago involving some low pressure air lines. Everything needs documented and after the design is approved, they have IQ/OQ/PQ (ROUGHLY - Installation Procedure - Was it installed as designed? / Operational Procedure - Does it work? / Performance Qualification - Does it perform as designed?). They're very thorough about safely making meds.

These air lines had to be made of clear PVC with clear fittings, clear primer and clear solvent cement. We had to provide documentation from the pipe, fitting, primer and cement manufacturers since the piping was in contact with the product. Long story short from the manufacturer - the solvent for priming and in the cement completely goes away after curing. PVC primer (solvent) is generally acetone, but may have Methyl Ethyl Death or other stuff. Any coloring is a result of added pigment (N/A in our case anyway). The color and consistency of the cement is a result of how much PVC is dissolved in the solvent.
