Just quit while operating. The power comes on when I turn the key to on but the battery light stays off and the starter doesn't engage. I have fuel and oil and a new battery and all the fuses are OK.

Have you checked your battery contacts?

Check that your gear shift is in neutral. Check the pto switch. This could be any of the safety interlocks ...

I have inadvertently bumped some of the levers with "neutral safety" switches and it cause some concerns till I verify all the levers are in proper safe position to allow start...

As a troubleshooting solution there should be a 12 volts of voltage off start lead from ignition switch (going several safety interlocks ) going to solenoid on starter when key is in start position.... IF you do not get the 12 volts to start terminal on solenoid you might have a bad interlock switch "somewhere" on tractor... Probably need wiring diagram to trace out "starting" circuit...

if it was running and quit, I would guess an issue with the Fuel shutoff solenoid, when you turn the key on do you hear the "click" of the solenoid
pulling in to turn the fuel flow on? I have a PDF of the Deere tech manual you're welcome to, has lots of troubleshooting in it. Shoot me your email if wanted.

You turn on the key and the battery light does not illuminate? It is supposed to be on any time the key is on and the engine is not running. It could be the bulb and unrelated to your problem. Or it could be another symptom of your problem. Several things can prevent your starter from engaging but a safety switch or wiring to the switch could kill your tractor while working as well as preventing it from starting again. As a first guess I'll say check the seat switch and any wiring going to it including the fuse. You could have a pinched wire if the switch is working properly or perhaps a mouse had a snack.
