Hello Everybody,
I have had this spike harrow for several years. At one time I seen the word "John" on it and does have a green tint beside all the rust on it. I was hoping somebody out there might be able to tell who made it and if it is worth selling or sending to the scrap yard?
It has 32 spikes.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

My guess is John Deere or oliver, but I'm just guessing. I would run a little add on line and see what happens. Somebody in landscaping may have a use for it. Also, somebody with a few horses my want to harrow thsir pasture and bream up the manure. If you don't get any bites you can always junk it later.

What an interesting 'spike tooth' drag harrow! Yes it's a JD and there are people who enjoy restoring old implements so sell it. Don't scrap.

It's a single 'section'. Two or three would be chained to a 'lead pole' and then dragged by the tractor. A GIS for "John Deere spike tooth harrow" brings up lots of examples.

Don't know what it is worth but we had two of these sections in the 1970's and they worked very well. Ours were about 5' wide each. If it is not bent up and works I would keep it.
