Yeah, but I want to try to minimize adapters, if possible.Or try Surplus Center. Just about anything can be adapted to anything.
Adapters are cheaper and easier than getting new hoses that fit. Especially if they have to be custom made for the purpose.Yeah, but I want to try to minimize adapters, if possible.

That I don't remember, but if they aren't listed on Surplus Center's web site, they may not exist.I am researching the pioneer ends right now, trying to figure out what thread options there are for those, since I'd like to stay away from NPT if possible.
I was reading that the industry has decided they are not good for high pressure applications, and this seems to be backed up by the fact that what I have now doesn't use any NPT threads. Just figure I'd try to use something different, and maybe more reliable, if possible. That I don't remember, but if they aren't listed on Surplus Center's web site, they may not exist.
Any particular reason you don't want to use NPT thread?
That threaded end looks like a DIN fitting.I found, on the grapple side, 18mm-1.5 straight female threads with an o-ring. I am not sure what this thread configuration is called, as it isn't NPT.
I'll head up to tractor supply to see if they have anything.
Tractor side, in thumbnail. I suppose they are "pioneer" style.
This is the skid steer side, coupler on the left and hose end on the right:

Well, I have read that releasing the pressure, if needed, on the flat-faced couplers is very difficult. I know that with the poppet type you can bang them against something hard and get a release out of those.Fair enough. Even though there must be many millions of NPT connections in use that work just fine in high pressure applications.
Maybe you could switch the couplings over to flat faced ones? I much prefer those over the cheapy standard tractor couplings. Much easier to keep clean, no fluid loss, etc.
Wish I'd done it while I still had money, and nowhere near as many quick disconnects. They are a bit pricey, especially these days.
