Just heard about an organization : TroopsDirect - Support, Supply, Logistics -- They send needed items for troops in war zones. According to spokes person they fill requests from troops themselves. Sad thing they request things like: tourniquets , body armor, chalk to mark land mines, and many other things that save lives. They ask for things that have been on order for months. i wonder why the U.S. doesn't have resources to get goods into field and yet a volunteer group can do it ok, but not near enough to solve problem. Its sad. The group claims 90% of $$ donated goes to soldiers. Seems like necessity fits better. It's for sure a non profit group. Why couldn't they divert some $$ going to enemy countries that don't deserve our help. I'd guess there are a few. A few million more $$ spent on our guys and girls would be a good investment. I blame the whole Congress, right and left..
