Help deleteing uploaded pictures

How do I delete pictures that I have uploaded to TBN?

Go to "my home". then over on the left under Misc click on attachments. This will bring up all the attachments you have posted and the thread they are posted in. you can preview them to make sure it is the one you wish to delete. If you want to delete it, you can place a checkmark in the small white box for each attachment. the click delete at the bottom of the page to delete the ones you have checked.

This works for deleting pics that have been uploaded and actually posted to a thread as attachments. Sounds like nybirdman may be asking how to delete pics that have been uploaded but never posted. I've been curious about that, as well. James, do you know a way to do that? For example, I'll sometimes upload and post a jpg that looks fine in the post as a thumbnail, but when a viewer double-clicks, it opens rotated 90 degrees clockwise. So I have to upload another copy that I've pre-edited to display incorrectly as a tn but correctly when double-clicked. No big deal, but I'm curious how you'd go about deleting the uploaded-but-unused version so as not to clutter the upload folder.

Here is an example of the orientation issue. Same jpg. The tn on the right is the original, correct orientation, but it displays incorrectly when double-clicked in the thread. :confused3:

Yes, I want to delete photos that got uploaded by mistake and were never added to post.

One thing I am unclear on is how do we know these pictures are not going to look right until they are posted? I am just not sure what you are asking for here.
