Help-950 3pt stuck

Hopeing that someone here has a way to unstick the 3 point hitch on a JD 950. Hitch is stuck in the up position. Hitch is not locked,
( Valve under the seat is open) but it acts like the piston is stuck in the bore??? I hung a disk on for weight and still nothing moves. The drop rate lever under the seat doesn't do anything, I have the lever pointed to the front, fastest drop rate. Any Help appreciated, thanks,

If you lift your seat and look underneath it, you should see a spring and a link hooked to it. See if the spring is broken or if the link is free to pivot on the control shaft. I am going to try and attach a photo of linkage. #4 is the spring and #2 is link that should pivot. If the link does not pivot, a little penetrating oil should help free it up. Don't use too much force or you could shear off te pivot point.

All is well that ends well I guess. The hyd shuttle valve above the 3 point cyl was stuck and after freeing it up all works as it should. Thanks for the direction, after seeing that the spring and linkage did what it should do I looked at the shuttle valve.
