Help 1301D

I recieved my manual today from Hoyes and it mentions a valve for slowing the drop when lowering implements. I tried to find it on my 1301D and could not. The manual is for a 1410 and my question is: Does the 1301D have this valve? Also, it says to check the dipstick on the front axle I cannot find a dipstick only a yellow fill cap. Also, where is the screen located for the hydraulics? Does anyone have a 1301D that can help it would be appreciated. Thanks for your patience.

Hey Bill,

The fall rate valve should be under the left side of your seat (-as you sit) on the case housing. Small valve with a roll pin handle.
The filter screen is at the end of your large hydraulic return line..inside the case-under the tractor. Usually three bolts on the welded flange (on the large tube line) and it will come out as an assembly.
I have seen many models with, and without, the FWD dipstick attached.
