Haven't checked in for a while....no news is usually good news.

Door handle on my 3710 cab model basically came apart. After removing and inspecting, I cannot believe it worked for any amount of time at all.

The handle bolts together sandwiching the glass door; the kicker is the nuts are round knurled and pressed into the plastic outside half.

Not only do they pull out, they crack/spread the plastic they're pressed into.

I re-assembled using expoxy to set the nuts in place......lasted a whole 1/2 dozen or so door openings/closings.

After reading here how anything with the Kubota name ,parts wise, is priced like it's gold, I fear what that half of the door handle will cost........oh wait, you probably won't be able to buy only half the assembly!!!

I also hate the fact that this assembly only lasted 200 hours....which I'm guessing is around 200 or less uses.

Thanks for letting me rant.....carry on.

Everyone always says that anything (insert name of brand here) is priced by it's weight in gold. I lost a flasher signal cover and was expecting it to be at least ten bucks but it was only a couple of dollars. You will spend more money than you should because you shouldn't be spending money on a door latch so soon but it might not be outrageous. Also check Tractorsmart.com

I used to use regular kneed epoxy for everything. Now I use PlasticWeld. It is still a form of epoxy, but on anything plastic does a fantastic job. After it sets up, it is there to stay.

Thanks for the site...........for whatever reason, they don't have the 3710C listed. I'll try calling 'em direct.

I may try it again....the way this is designed is EVERYTIME you open the door to the cab, the knurled/pressed in nut is trying to pull itself out....BIZARRE!!!

I'm thinking if I can find a new one, I'll reinforce it BEFORE installation.
