I have just purchased a 2004 JD 2210. This is my first compact. I am 66 and have everything to learn. I had visited this site a few times while trying to find a tractor. You all have steered me to my decision in favor of the 2210, Thank You very much. I am anxious to get started with your input. As I learn hopefully I can help future rookies like myself. Hi Dan, welcome to TBN!

My pops is right about your age and has enjoyed his 2210 for several years now. He loves the hydraulic 4-way snow blade, but I couldn't convince him how beneficial a front loader would be. Questionable value on such a small tractor, but still. Do you have one?

Yes, and I'm looking forward to using it this Spring. I don't have a blade yet but I do have the 47" snowblower and a mower deck. Since Pops has one, do you know where I might get a manual for it? The only one I have found is a technical manual that assumes you are already familiar with using and maintaining/repairing it. I am really looking forward to its arrival later this week.

You mean the owners/operator manual? If you don't mind reading it on a computer, here you go: OMLVU14461_G3

If you need a paper version, hopefully a JD dealer wouldn't charge too ridiculous an amount for one.

Years back also had CC1450...great for mowing no so for snow blowing...darn front wheel bearing couldn't take stress.
