I came across your wonderful forum and WAS hooked. I must admit at the outset that I don't own a tractor,I do however life in an isolated region of Canada, ( a small island in the Gulf of Saint Lawerence...) there are no roads, cars etc. It's a fishing village, where people are very resourceful, fix their own stuff, improvise due to lack of readily available parts etc.
I have a 6414 DF John Deere in my boat, and I have just switched the winch that I use to haul it ashore from electric to Hydraulic, now... I am hooking up a newly constructed Log splitter to it, and I have issues.
I am 50, boater Diver, welder, scrounger, have a 40 x 24' work shop thats crammed to the roof with ( my wifes term...''Junk''). Love making things out of salvaged materials
