Long time lurker, first time poster.

Recently aquired a Farmall M in not too terrible shape. Reviving it for brush hogging and fire wood skidding around the house.

Day I dragged it home. It does run now, need to install the electing ignition components I acquired for it.



Working on a three point hitch for it. I am about half way on the link bases.




Trying to decide if I should build a traditional lift linkage system or go with each side lifting independently. Down side would be having to fiddle with the leveling every time I lift the attachment. Upside would be the ability to re-level on the fly. For my uses, I don't this the down side would be that bad.

Welcome from Howell, Michigan. I have a Farmall H, with a Saginaw hitch, I think it is better than most OEM 3 point hitches. I have seen hitches made with adjustable side links. The downside is it is easy to break something... Do a search on here, there is plenty of info here.

Btw, nice WFE, looks to be a original IH. I've heard that they have a pretty wide turn radius?
