Hello to all,
I am a newbie, of course. Born and raised on a farm, moved away after getting married and started a career and joined with my wife in starting her a new business recently.
I work in the insurance industry as a homeowner's adjuster and we opened a fill-service florist about a year ago.
Mom & Dad still live on the family farm. Been in the family for 3 generations. Dad is 74 now and has had some health issues recently. I am in the process of getting back into helping him run the farm. About a 1,000 acres in North Texas. Mostly pasture and hay fields. He raises some cows and bales & cuts his own hay. Has some old bulldozers that he still runs occasionally.
Figured I could use a place with a wealth of knowledge and info such as this forum.
