I'm another Lurker, retired, escaped to this great state. Wife and I have 57 acres, mostly timber. I'm still practically new to tractors, bought a Kioti CK25hst earlier this year. It's been good to me, and most questions I've had were answered by perusing these forums and using 'search'. You folks are the EXPERTS and most helpful for newbys like me. One thing that has me baffled is the 3point lower link arms. If I lower them all the way, they go all the way to the shed floor. Thinking that can't be right, if they were down and you backed up, you'd break 'em on something sooner or later. I mostly keep a ballast back there, but today I thought I'd try moving where the lift arms attach. They were in the 2nd hole out from the machine, I moved 'em out to the 3rd, farther out, hole. It didn't make much difference, still hits the floor. Is there an adjustment i'm missing that limits the range of movement? Thanks for any help, and be careful out there.

Welcome to the forum!

:tractor: I'm going to move this thread over to our Kioti section to see if we can find you some advice.

G'day Mate and welcome to TBN from Downunder.

There are some EXPERTS here, but most of us are simply experienced... and, like me, still learning. :)

Enjoy the site.

Does your tractor have a draft control lever? If so adjust the height of the arms upward. If not, ask somebody else like a dealer...

I have a 2004 model CK30hst which I think yours should be similar. There is no draft control. At least not on mine. I know of no limit control other than where you position the control lever and where the lift rods connect to the lift arms. I've always had some 3pt attachment connected so mine might drop to the floor if nothing was attached.

How about placing a block of wood underneath before you lower the lift arms?

Thanks for the replys, and the welcomes. It hasn't been a problem, I use the finger lock in front of the control lever to keep it above ground level. I suppose it'd be useful when using pallet forks on the 3point. Was just wonderin if I had it set up wrong. Speaking of which, what effect does changing the lift arm attachment out to the 3rd hole have, easier on the hydraulics, or harder? As I said, still learning here.

I should have mentioned, no, doesn't have draft control.
