Hello from Missiouri

I just found this forum, and it looks great. I now own a Sears yard tractor that is 15 years old. I am researching to purchase a new riding mower/tractor for my home. My yard is about an acre and I take care of a house in Willow Springs with a large yard
At this time I am trending toward a 300 series John Deere, but I won't be purchasing until the fall.
I am very pleased to be part of this forum, everyone seems so friendly and helpful.

I used to have one of those Dr 6hp string mowers with a beaver blade. Wicked machine.

What I have is a DR brush cutter with remote control and a 20hp Kholer engine. It will cut anything you have the stones to drag it across. It does better on brush than tall pasture grass, but quite acceptable on the pasture.
