Welcome from North of Upstate Ny(Canadian Border),love Michigan by the way.Yes tractors are quite handy in the woods.4wd,FEL,R1(Ag)tires and if you do a lot of logging,a skidding winch. You may want to pass on a cab version for the woods.Look at 30-40 HP and 3,000lbs bare tractor weight minimum.

I want to thank everyone for the welcomes I did in fact buy the 2410 New Holland and have put 12 hours on it. I am really liking all the tasks that this tractor can handle I have plowed snow with the bucket skidded logs and am cleaning up one of our woodlots and am considering putting in either beans or hay (beans or hay may be more of a dream than anything at this point but it is a realistic goal because of the tractor)
thanks to all.
