Hi to all. I've just acquired a very neat little Iseki TX 1410. Had two old Fergies in the past, a petrol/paraffin and a diesel.
Much regret selling them both!

Yes you should have kept them both, now you have a toy...!

Welcome to TBN
Having so thoroughly enjoyed my time (3.5 years) in the UK and my travels throughout Scotland (3 trips) I had to look up where you were located. It looks like I never made it to your town but came close. I turned off on the A82 just SW of Fort William rather than continuing on to Oban. While it has been many years (mid 80's) since I was there I still remember the area and how nice it and the people were.

Thanks for the reply. My father lived in Montrose from 2002 to 2013(r.i.p). I grew to like the area a lot despite the flatter landscapes. It's a great wee town with a lot of character and 'real' locals (both pubs and people!)

I was stationed at the old RAF base near Edzell. The US Navy had leased the facilities. I quickly moved off base and rented a small duplex from a local farmer. It was great getting away from the military barracks life. I dated a local girl and enjoyed my time there. The locals were friendly to us "yanks" unlike experiences I had at Navy bases in the US. The weather is a wee bit gloomy though. :)

Hmm, not so sure it's a toy having used it a few times. It handles a Fleming mower pretty well. I have a bit of boggy ground to cross where the Fergies would have got stuck, one did a few years ago..this little toy has 2 or 4wd, low ratio and even a diff lock and probably better weight distribution and front tyres. So far it has shown a 'go anywhere' approach to things, so a lot of care is needed because the wheelbase is quite narrow!
