Hello from a would be tractor owner.
I'm a Scot who has recently settled in Nova Scotia. My wife and I bought 28 acres on Cape Breton Island and built a cabin to live in whilst we finish our house.
I use a forum at countryplans.com 12 x 24 in Cape Breton
for most of my building tips and tricks (knowledgeable folk there) but I'm hoping I'll get some help here with tractor knowhow without being too baffled!

Wow!!! Cool Cabin! :welcome: to TBN... When you are ready to ask which tractor is right for you (in the general buying area), make sure to put in what you plan to use it for, how much snow you get, how long the driveway is, which dealers are near you and also your budget!!!

I moved to BC from Scotland in 2003 and we bought our 11 acre farm in 2005. Have been a member of TractorbyNet since around 2005 and have found it a wealth of knowledge and good advice.

Do you have your tractor yet or are you still looking? It can be useful with the construction projects as well as around the property. Good luck with your projects and your new life in NS.

You have chosen a beautiful place to live.
I have fond memories of warping a brake rotor on my '71 SAAB 99 on a long descent on the Meat Cove road about 20 years ago. Thought I was going over the edge.
