Knew what was going to happen 1 sec into the video. There were a LOT of cables there to get caught on. Not a brilliant place to land.

Thankfully the pilot looks ok.

Can't believe he walked away. If you look closely, you can see that he was actually thrown from the cockpit and landed in the back of the helicopter in mid air...Scary.

If someone was spotting for him, they did not do a very good job??? Obviously, he was way too close to the wires.

So, does that mean his harness failed, or did the whole seat mount fail?? It didn't look like he was in the seat at the end of the clip... Lucky guy, he's really fortunate that the motor didn't shell out and send shrapnel everywhere!

Wow, don't trust that seat belt system. Is that the motor still spinning making that loud whine? My knowledge of helicopters is 0.

Yes, the turbine engine was still running, and the clutch should have released the rotor, which is also possibly some of the noise.
