OK, when 5035HST was originally delivered, the heater was not hooked back up after they installed a grapple. They came out and fixed that.

Now, months later, the light once again does not come on when the key is turned. The tractor does start right up and a couple times the Heater Indicator Light came on for a few seconds after the engine started. Is this another "glitch" which they need to fix, or would warm temps possibly be causing no light to come on?

Thanks! Rob

Your heater timer/relay is just above the battery in the front. The heaters draw quite a bit of current, so you will see some big wires on it. Maybe they did not tighten everything up correctly when they tap'd in power for your hydralic solenoid power... If it makes you feel better, I put a rocker switch in series with the power going to that timer... and I do not use my heater to start my 5035 except in the dead of winter. Even then, you don't really need it. I did the same thing to my Dodge Cummins grid heaters years ago. Grid heaters are great if you need them, but they really zap the heck out of the battery and charging circuit. Good luck, Jerry...
