Heat issue

I have a kubota rtv1100 .having heater/heating issues heater is blowing cold air when vehicle isn't moving ..when moving it blows hot air ..an also engine temperature will reach into the red zone when machine is just idling any ideas please ..maybe water pump is the issues

Please insure your cooling system is full.
Check the radiator and expansion tank,if you have one.

Is your unit an RTV-1100 with one radiator or an RTV-X1100 with two radiators?

It's a rtv 1100 it's the older model. just the one

The symptoms could indicate several faults--low on coolant, bad radiator cap and/or bad pump.

If low on coolant, check for leaks AND the radiator cap.

dirty air side radiator passages, clogged coolant side radiator passages, stuck thermostat, bad rad cap, loose fan belt,....
