Well, I have a smart cell phone and like to listen to music etc. while mowing the lawn on my BX-1850, but more important, so if my daughter or wife need to call me I can hear and answer them. Also a nice safety blanket if I do something stupid while alone. I tried "in the ear canal" noise blocking ear buds with a mic. They did not block enough noise so I had to put my standard chainsaw muffs over them. I wear glasses with a leash so I can take them off to read close up. It is an annoyance to have to take my earmuffs and hat to get me glasses on and off. ( no bi-focal wise cracks please) after first untangling the earphone wire from the glasses leash. If I cannot find ear-bud/mic that can properly block the noise, I would like to find a set of earmuffs with a mic.
I did find two headsets. One at Lowes
Shop 3M Hearing Protector with Stereo Radio at Lowes.com
and another at Home Depot.
Active Noise Canceling Headphones-GX22225 at The Home Depot
Neither of these have a mic. Does any one know of one similar that has a microphone?
David Clark company in my home town of Worcester, Ma has some awesome ones used by pilots and astronauts but they start at about $600.00.
Any other suggestions? A cab would be nice!
Thanks
