Haven't seen anyone posting about these, if so, please just throw this on the end of those posts.

3M™ WorkTunes™ Connect Wireless Hearing Protector with Bluetooth(R) Technology | 3M United States

I love to listen to music and do work (phone calls) from the tractor. I have 2 sets of audio headsets. An old 3M with a radio and plug in and a Ryobi with microphones and a plug in (the mic is for hearing noises but muffling out the loud) Neither head set is great, not bad, just not great. I am tempted daily to use my Bose but the thought of a $300 pair of headphones in the rain is not something I smile about

So Saw a deal at Costco (came with a set of safety glasses) and could not say no.

Impressions are that it first, they are very comfortable, way more than the other two headsets. Second, they sound pretty good. They are louder than the other headsets (I uses a bluetooth Aduro to drive the other headsets and that works very well btw if you want wireless). They are also quieter than the other two.

So if you are in need, these seem to be a great headphone for outdoor work.

I've been considering these. I love my FM radio set but they cause me to miss phone calls.

Have you received any phone calls with them?

How much were they at Costco?

I have used numerous headphones and bit the bullett for my birthday this summer and bought a pair of the Bose noise cancelling ones. WOW, they are insane..super nice. Excellent sound and cancels outside noise. But I have to admit when they get dusty it messes with my OCD a little. I also bought a set off amazon that are fantastic as well for around 50 or 60 bucks and to be honest these things serve the same purpose as the Bose and a lot less expensive......my five year old uses them.

I should really think about these when using my Polaris Brutus. The 3cyl Yanmar is horribly loud: 95db at 1,500 rpm (idle) and 105db at 3,300 rpm: of course, these were my measurements; hardly think that Polaris would provide such information (pretty damning). I don't operate the Brutus for very long at a shot, so my hearing is pretty much spared.

I do wear ear muffs in my shop when running power tools and on the tractor. But I would not do headphones on the tractor. To distracting as I like to listen to the engine and avoid missing something that doesn't sound right. Just me...to many years working on aircraft trying to listen to the engine !!!

We just bought a 2014 Kubota RTV x900. Diesel. Deafening. An not exhaust pipe, it is just diesel rattling noise that is not covered at all. When we drive down the road together people say they can here us yelling over the engine.

I know what you mean. There are these things called Gun Muffs (my Ryobi's are like this) they muffle out the loud noises but let you still liisten to the general sounds (They have a microphone). I need muffs on my tractor, just too much noise.

On a side note, you excited to see the new order for 747's? I think Delta just retired their last. Man I loved flying upper class in them Wish I had been around for the intro, this looked way way cool.

I am pretty sure all of these images are from the 747 but the 4th one down with the bar in the "basement" was oh so cool and hip.

Started reading the reviews and of the first 8 there was only one that was 5 stars and had no complaints. I'm glad they showed it was an Incentivized Review. Guess I will stick with what I have for now.

I am with you on that, a tractor can kill someone if something is loose and not paid attention to. I work in a driving school where earbuds are not allowed, and yet people still walk out in front of moving semi's with phone in hand listening to them.

I can still hear my tractor and machinery even with my 3M work tunes with FM radio playing. I get off the tractor relaxed with hearing intact. If I run the tractor without wearing them my ears are buzzing and head hurts.

I have the same ones you linked. Been about a month. The are GREAT.
I've used them splitting wood on my gas splitter. Volume needs to be at max, but it's just right. Makes splitting much nicer having something to listen to.
I've since started using them while i stack wood as well. Not a noisy process, but the headphones are great, and keep me entertained. Battery lasts a long time. Highly recommended.

I have to chime back in and eat some crow. I've had the yellow FM only work tunes for a year or 3 and really liked them but there have been occasions where I missed a phone call I would have liked to receive. I messed around and bought a set of Bluedio Blue Tooth headphones trying to be cheap and they work okay but offered NO hearing protection. Broke down and bought the 3M Work Tunes with Bluetooth only and I am in awe at how well they work.

My new to me 4310 has a nice compartment to keep my phone in so I can set it on Pandora and go to work. My wifi router has a 500 ft range so I don't think it will use much in the way of cellular data but that isn't much of a concern if it does. After I finished on the tractor I got on the F725 to do my trimming and received a phone call from the wife. I just turned off the PTO and lowered the engine speed a little and we carried on a normal conversation even with the engine still running.

I have a renewed faith in stuff with proprietary rechargeable batteries also. Most of my stuff is lasting way longer than replaceable batteries and continue to be rechargeable without any failures.

I love my 3M worktunes. They bluetooth connect to my phone for listening to music. The volume dosnt have to be high and i can still hear/feel my machine.

I would not wear them if i was working on the ground with someone running a machine.
