Hello all,

Got a new one for everyone to ponder and discuss.

Couple of weekends ago was using the tratcor(CK20HST 2003) all day in the rain, turned lights on after dark, finished up and put away(as I've done many times).
Next day worked until dark and went to turn headlights on and the switch was frozen(wouldn't turn to any on position, but turn signal switch still works).
Got back to the barn and sprayed some silicon in it and let it soak in, next day still frozen, tried WD40 same thing, so still no headlights.

Any suggestions? although I really expect to just replace the switch.

Any dealers experience this yet? Do you ahve switches in stock? cost?

Thanks ,Joe48

your problem could be one of 2 things. first thing to check would be the
harness connections under the platform on the right side,(under your right foot)
there has been cases of water accumulating there cause stray current. take them apart, dry them out and coat with dielectric grease, the other would be the obvios, replace the lite switch.

Many light switches can be removed and disassembled and cleaned. I would try this first before replacing it. You have nothing to loose, except for a few springs, so be careful when you open it not to loose any parts. Worse that can happen is you buy another. Give it a try.
