CC LT 1042. Is there anyway to turn off the head lights. I dont need them. Thought about putting them on a switch. Also, to start I have to hold down the break. Again, can I jump this switch and take that pedal off the tractor?

you can put a separate switch on the headlite circuit - yer choice of location.
Don't know about discussing brake sw here... most safety device override discussions are frowned upon by the forum leaders...plus you'll be adding the hydro tranny drag to yer starter load.

I have GT 2554 and I did the same thing, went to Auto Zone picked up a 20 amp flush mounted switch with a pilot light, so you know if they are on or off, wired one terminal to a neutral (for the pilot light circuit) and put a male terminal on one side and a female on the other and just interupted the line going to the headlights that is mounted on the underside of the hood and was done. Maybe it took 15 mins.
