Head gasket pop!!!

Hey everyone
First post . I have a 2007 Open station DK45se HST. Awesome tractor. 1145 hrs. @ 600 hrs fuel pump crapped out. I was told they don't rebuild the old ones u need to by new so I did. $1200.00
Then I did the work my self , no warranty left on the tractor. Replaced the pump. Then looked at the old one found a chipped tooth on the plastic gear. I tooled it apart turned it 180 put it back together works fine.then I find out the pumps can be rebilt

By rebuilt, do you mean they can be disassembled and reassembled or do you mean there is a source for parts? IPs have close tolerances and I understand they are lapped as matched sets.

Also, I assume your gear rack was undamaged?

Muray...I'm confused...so is your head gasket blown? If so, it's not a big deal to fix, just make sure your replace the bolts too, not just the gasket.
