Within the last year my 3-point hitch lift on my L3130 will not go down in a timely manner. Last year it started getting slower and would take about 30 seconds, but today it took about 5 minutes as I was installing the belly mower. It raised fine, any idea about the potential problem?

Do you have a 3 point regulating speed valve on your tractor? Mine is installed between the heels of my boots. It can actually close the system. Philip.

Not sure if I have, but exactly where is it located, under the seat or floorboard and what does it look like?
Thanks

That was the problem! For all the hours I have spent on the tractor I have paid attention to that control, works correct now!
Thanks for the input.

I am glad I could help you with the question in your origial post. There are many more things you could learn about your tractor in addition to the 3 point flow control valve with just a hour or two of reading. Not only do I know my keys, but I know my tractors. Maybe you should move on and learn more about your tractor and worry less about my keys?????? Oh, your welcome. Philip.

Pricklely I always though of a spikey bush but now looking at the root of the word maybe that is a little harsh, perhaps the flies are out;) Lets all get along now, lol.

I won't use the ! key, but highly recommend reading/re-reading a manual. Even though I have run our tractors for a minimum of two years, occasionally I get a manual out and go through it again.

Appologies if I came across a little coarse. I will keep my 'keys' in my pocket.:)

Ya it is surprising what a little experience does to the reread, lol.

It's also surprising, sadly, what a reread does to one's opinion of their own memory, sometimes. Other times, it's very rewarding--especially when you read it before operating, as my grandfather would always insist that I do. Bless his soul.
