has anyone used a bolt on front hay spear on their fel. If so where did you purchase it.

There are plenty of bolt on units available that use the good spear.
You might also want to look at the ones that attach with a chain to simplify the attaching proccess.

It really only makes a difference if you are moving hay a lot or just a few bales being moved. The bolt on for day in and out, but many operators get tired looking around the bucket.

art thanks for the answer. I was not sure if they were reliable. It sure would make moving hay out of the field easier. one front and one rear. also being able to stack them

We bought a pin on model from Rural King. We punched out the Kubota factory pins and replaced them with hardened hitch pins. Now when we want to move several hay bales, we pull the pins, drop the bucket and pin the spear in place of it. This way the weight is closer to the tractor for more stability and greater weight capacity than using a bucket mounted spear.
